Southwest USA 2010-2011 The Road

Day 8 – Back to the Blacktop.

Written by Wayne

After almost two days in Lewiston Idaho working on some edits and applying for some online work I hit the road again. I didn’t get too far before I pulled over to explore the wonders at Dog Bark Park and found myself enjoying a chat with one of the proprietors Dennis. (see my feature on Dennis and Frances’ creation).

Dennis advised me on some nearby sights and I made my way into the evening sunset. I found myself at an elevation above 4200 feet looking down into what is known as Hells Canyon. I took a few shots and made my way down, taking a little drive through White Bird and then finding a pullout to sleep for the night.

After chatting with Dennis this afternoon and hearing some of his stories I feel better about this trip and what I’m doing. Feeling like perhaps it’s not the ones like myself who go out and take a chance that are the crazy ones but the ones who are miserable doing the same thing day in and day out expecting different results. I think perhaps I was temporarily insane, life is changing and I like it.

Wayne

Welcome to my adventures. I am your host, your vagabond, your homeless traveling photographer who needs to see new things and keep moving. I am a photographer first, a writer second, a graphic designer and and a semi retired rock drummer. Check out the "about me" for more details.

These are my adventures, I hope you enjoy them as much as I do and continue to follow along.

Much Love,
Wayne
